Passion flower is a vine native to Asia, New Zealand, Australia and tropical regions of the U.S. 

Passion flower is often combined with other calming herbs in tea blends, including valerian, lemon balm and hops.

A sedative herb used for anxiety, insomnia, restlessness, epilepsy and other conditions of hyperactivity, as well as high blood pressure. Passionflower also is included in many pain formulas when discomfort is caused by muscle tension and emotional turmoil.
